A striking antique garnet solitaire ring set with a faceted almandine garnet, which displays a gorgeous purple/red colour. The band is trifurcated and is crafted in 18 karat yellow gold, a lovely contrast to the colour of the stone. It dates from the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
