Stunning Edwardian solitaire ring set with the most remarkable square cut Colombian emerald. The stone is certified at 3.35 carats (although the cut is relatively shallow so appears bigger on the finger) natural beryl with only minor oil enhancement, origin Colombia. The colour is superb, and the clarity virtually unheard of, with the few visible inclusions cleverly hidden behind the step facets - testament to the skill of the lapidary. The mount is simple and minimal, crafted in 18 karat gold with a simple four claw basket and French hallmarks to the outer band.
